What doesnt kill you could make you sick

Today i suffered a bit of nostalgia, just moved to a new host and thought i would make sure the site worked. While doing so i coulnt help but notice my last few blurbs about warcraft and assassins creed. Between the 2 of these games it was enough to make me walk away from PC gaming completely.

WoW was just more the same warmed over and given a few new features. Not much fun once you got past the new stuff which as always was just not enough. Creed was the other end of the spectrum the kind of game that makes people hate using the PC for entertainment other than the internet. Insane hardware requirements and an unforgiving inteface that favored using a game controller.

That in a nutshell is the rock and the hard place. Internet based gaming is apparently all thats keeping the PC alive as a viable platform. I am rethinking the site, considering putting some new effort into it but i am hard pressed to find something i actually want to play. I may even have to start gaming on a console, and no while this is not the begining of the end it is certainly a crappy end to the begining.
